Operations Manager

BEL Solutions Oy is a Finnish IT company that delivers tailored SaaS solutions to customers on a turnkey basis. Our office is in Espoo, but we also work flexibly remotely and, when needed, at our customers’ premises. We are now seeking an experienced Operations Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and develop them! This new key role combines hands-on work with strategic development—you will work closely with management, sales and development teams. You will ensure that projects progress efficiently, resources are allocated appropriately and operating practices support sustainable growth. At the same time, you will build new practices, develop processes and strengthen our operating culture. Key responsibilities: Leading, monitoring and reporting on operations. You will resolve unexpected problems and remove possible bottlenecks. You will ensure that the right people are in the right tasks at the right time. People management. Managing customer project deliveries and collaborating with sales. You may act as the main contact for partners and customers. Ensuring quality and customer experience: you will ensure that deliveries meet agreed criteria and products are developed according to the roadmap. Continuously developing processes and introducing new operating models. What we expect from you: Substantial experience in operational leadership and people management in IT or software development. A track record of leading IT projects or deliveries. A good understanding of software development practices and their practical application. Ability to work under pressure, readiness for change and a can-do attitude. Ability to understand broad situations. You can prioritise effectively even without complete information and make changes when circumstances require. Insight into process development and scaling operations. Strong communication and negotiation skills: you communicate fluently in Finnish and English, orally and in writing. We particularly value: A hands-on approach and initiative.
