Waiter

Primary location: Tampere. We are looking for a full-time waiter at Tiikerihai restaurant in Tampere for a permanent position (45 hours / 3 weeks). Proficient Finnish language skills required. The role includes taking orders, serving customers, operating the cash register, and using restaurant information systems; karaoke duties are included with full onboarding. On weekends the restaurant features a disco setup and there are occasional student events. Flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends; the restaurant is open Tue-Thu 20:00–04:00 and Fri-Sat 15:00–04:00, with a requirement to be available for all shifts. The position involves working in a cooperative company owned by its customers. Experience in bar work and basic drink knowledge plus a serving permit are appreciated, but a positive attitude and resilience are most valued. Salary is in accordance with the Hospitality, Restaurant and Leisure Services collective agreement with extensive employee benefits.
