General Practitioner

We are seeking a doctor for Päiväperho Family Support Center in Tampere for the period 1 September to 31 December 2026. Workload is 3-4 hours per week. Päiväperho is a family support center focused on issues arising from substance use and dependencies, offering a range of support, treatment and rehabilitation for parents and children together with their families. The doctor’s role at Päiväperho is to provide comprehensive medical assessment of adult clients considering family circumstances, design and review medications, plan possible follow-up care, and support multidisciplinary teamwork. The position is for a general practitioner or a specialist in general medicine with experience in treating substance-use clients. Short summary: Role: full medical assessment of adult clients (addiction, mental health, somatic health), medication planning and review with family context, planning of further care and support for multidisciplinary work. Workload: 3-4 hours per week. Working hours: Office hours. Start: 1 September 2026. Duration: until 31 December 2026. Workplace: Päiväperho Family Support Center, Tampere.
