We are seeking a Service Lead for the homelike Mäntylä group home in Rovaniemi. Work with residents with disabilities is at its best when it involves genuine encounters, making everyday life easier, enabling participation and bringing joy to others. Every one of our employees helps make a difference and enriches lives. What will your work involve? As Service Lead, you will work alongside the Unit Manager and act as their substitute when needed. You will participate in daily care work, guidance, and the development and implementation of new working methods together with the rest of the work community. Your duties also include organising and guiding practical work, arranging substitutes when needed, preparing customer billing, and tasks related to monitoring and reporting on operations. In addition, you will be responsible for the overall medication management and bring healthcare expertise to the team. The Service Lead role comes with responsibility, but you certainly do not have to work alone. In addition to the rest of the team, the Unit Manager will support you in your everyday work. The Service Lead position is mainly daytime work. The position is permanent and full-time. We will agree on the start date together. Pay Pay for the position follows the collective agreement for private social services. The salary ranges from €3,047.45 to €3,324.77 per month, depending on your previous relevant work experience. What kind of colleague are we looking for? We expect you to have a nursing qualification. Previous work experience with special-needs groups is required. Experience in similar responsibilities is an advantage. We also expect you to be able to make independent decisions and to have strong collaboration skills. This work calls for a genuinely client-centred and present approach: the courage to meet every resident as an individual, starting from their own circumstances, good communication skills and flexibility. Please note that the selected candidate must present the criminal record extract referred to in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act, as required of people working with persons with disabilities. What do we offer? As a Humana employee, you are entitled to comprehensive occupational healthcare. Humana’s Epassi sports, culture and well-being benefit is worth €400 per year, subject to the working-time condition. You can use the benefit for items such as theatre tickets and gym memberships, or even visit an oral hygienist. At Humana, you will have an employer committed to responsibility. We firmly believe in our ability to make a positive difference to people and society. We are proud of our values: commitment, responsibility, and encounters and joy. Interested? We look forward to hearing from you! Take this opportunity and submit your application by 1 November 2026. We interview applicants during the application period and will make our selection as soon as we find a suitable person. For further information about the position, contact Unit Manager Tiina Miettinen by phone at 0405116500. Please note that we cannot accept applications by email. Submit your application directly through our application link. Humana is a leading Nordic social services provider offering individualised social services close to people and their family life. We have 2,300 employees in Finland. Every day, we help and support 5,000 people in different life situations. In line with our vision, we believe that everyone has the right to a good life, and we work to make a positive difference to people and society.
