The Layout Engineers will work on the mechanical layout and 3D design of STATCOM systems. Their main tasks include equipment arrangement, 3D modelling, assembly and installation drawings, interface and clearance coordination, and providing inputs for foundations and site installation. They will work closely with electrical, civil, system, supplier, and site teams throughout the project. Must-have skills include Revit and SolidWorks, experience in substations/FACTS/STATCOM/HVDC projects, 3D modelling, and knowledge of interfaces and constructability. Education required is B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. Location is Tampere, on-site. Start August; contract 6 months with potential extension. Language: English. Salary not disclosed.
