What would it be like to work on exceptional projects? Would you like an excellent team and a fair-minded supervisor around you? Are you interested in developing your skills on significant construction sites? Great, we have an opening for you!
We are now looking for salaried construction site staff for SRV's projects starting next year in Turku, in several different roles. You will join a straightforward, fair-minded team that values your expertise. One of our three values is: It's great to work with us. We are looking for site supervisors, project engineers and responsible site supervisors. Could you be the professional we are looking for?
What is this about?
We have several significant projects under construction or in development in the Turku area: Blue Industry Park, a leading European maritime and manufacturing hub being built near the shipyard; the Pikkuapollo residential development in Kuloistenniitty, Raisio; and an arena project developing a multi-purpose arena and related hotel, offices and parking facility in the new Turku Railway Yard district. We are now looking for people for the following roles:
Site Supervisor
As a site supervisor, you are responsible for work at different stages of demanding and meaningful commercial projects. You are at the centre of everyday site operations and ensure the conditions for construction work to progress smoothly. Our site supervisors take care of project schedules, occupational safety, quality, costs, work supervision and practical matters on site. You play an important role in working with our partners and clients.
Project Engineer
Tasks generally known in construction as site and production engineering are included in our project engineer role. You bring plans and work phases together into a smooth process. The varied project support duties include coordinating design during construction, preparing schedules and monitoring implementation, cost calculations and forecasts, managing additional and change work, occupational safety matters, using environmental and quality systems, logistics, and preparing procurement.
Responsible Site Supervisor
As responsible site supervisor, you are responsible for the site's financial, quality and operational management and for ensuring occupational safety. You maintain contact with authorities and ensure that the site progresses in accordance with regulations and plans. You work closely with the rest of the project personnel on preparing and monitoring schedules, coordinating procurement and controlling costs. You also ensure that additional and change work is handled smoothly. In addition, you lead the site's daily operations, handle personnel administration and ensure resources are allocated at the right time.
