Retail Sales Assistant

Hello, you who are interested in grocery store work! Have you already gained experience in S- or K-group stores, or could customer service be your thing? We are now looking for checkout staff for stores in Kuusamo and nearby municipalities. As a sales assistant, you have a crucial role in creating the customer's shopping experience—you may even be the customer's only contact while they are shopping. In addition to checkout duties, your tasks include advising and serving customers, unloading deliveries, and putting products on display. You will work in busy, varied environments and varied duties, and get to meet many new colleagues! The employment is on an on-call basis, and working hours are available according to the stores' needs. Shifts are usually offered at short notice, meaning employees are often sought for a shift on the same day. The work is therefore well suited to someone who can plan their own schedule and flexibly accept different shifts. Work begins as soon as suitable people are found. Pay is determined according to the retail collective agreement, with an hourly wage of €13.13–€14.93 depending on your previous work experience and education. The employment contract is made between the employee and StaffPoint.
