Key Responsibilities: Lead HSE strategy and implementation across the construction site; Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments; Ensure compliance with local DACH health and safety legislation and client HSE standards; Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and ongoing HSE training to site personnel; Investigate incidents, near misses and implement corrective actions; Coordinate with main contractor and subcontractors to ensure a consistent safety culture across all trades; Report HSE performance to client and senior management. Requirements: Proven HSE management experience within construction, ideally data centre or mission critical projects; Strong knowledge of local DACH health and safety regulation (Arbeitsschutzgesetz, SiGeKo requirements where applicable); Relevant HSE qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit, or equivalent); Fluent English essential, German highly advantageous given local regulatory requirements; Right to work/freelance in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.
