Mail carrier for the Christmas season in the Karkkila area Job description Your duties include delivering mail and parcels on predefined delivery routes. Work would begin with orientation at a mutually agreed time, but the greatest need is during weeks 51–53. Continuing as an on-call worker may be possible. You will use our client’s delivery vehicle with right-hand steering. The areas include Karkkila, Pusula, Vihti, Otalampi, Ojakkala and nearby areas, so local knowledge is an advantage. What do we expect from you? Previous experience in mail delivery or similar duties is not required, as comprehensive training is provided. To succeed in the role, you need: – a B driving licence that has been valid for at least two years – good physical fitness – a careful and responsible approach to work – initiative and a positive attitude – readiness to work outdoors in changing weather conditions – proficiency in Finnish We consider the following an advantage – previous experience in delivery or transport duties We offer – comprehensive training for the role – the possibility of continuing the employment – independent and mobile work Pay is determined in accordance with the delivery-sector collective agreement.
