We currently operate across multiple Finnish locations and support flexible work arrangements. We are looking for a technically capable and autonomous Structural Designer to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for designing power line and substation structures, as well as various industrial structures, as part of an experienced team. Your duties will include 3D design and preparation of 2D drawings; depending on your expertise, you may also participate in structural dimensioning and strength calculations. Depending on your interests and performance, the role can be expanded and you will have influence on design methods and tools used. Most of our projects relate to renewable energy, increasing demand for substation and power line investments. Our structural design team operates across Finland at Tampere, Pori and Oulu offices as well as from remote locations, so work can be performed flexibly at the office or remotely. What we expect from you: relevant technical education (engineering degree AMK or Master of Science in Technology), experience in design of power line and substation structures or similar complex structures, ability to work independently on demanding structural design tasks, proficiency in design and calculation software, willingness to collaborate with different stakeholders, precision, initiative and problem-solving, fluent Finnish and English skills. Desirable: experience with steel and concrete structure sizing and strength calculations, BIM experience (Tekla Structures), and GEO design experience.
