Quality Engineer

This vacancy is for a quality engineer/inspector at ANDRITZ Hydro Oy in Tampere. The role involves ensuring the quality of products, components, and project deliveries in collaboration with project management, procurement, production, design, and suppliers. Tasks include performing incoming, intermediate, and final inspections; participating in supplier and FAT inspections; conducting measurements, visual, assembly, and documentation inspections; verifying material certificates and inspection reports; compiling quality documentation per project requirements; handling non-conformities and following up corrective actions; coordinating with suppliers to ensure quality requirements; supporting and implementing quality improvement activities. Requirements include applicable technical education, experience in industrial quality assurance, inspection or manufacturing, ability to read technical drawings, strong documentation and reporting skills, methodical and precise work approach, ability to work independently and as part of a team, good Finnish and English written and oral skills, and willingness to travel (about 20–30 days per year). Desirable experience includes machine shop, energy or project industry, supplier and FAT inspections, and NDT certifications (PT, MT, UT).
