Finance Manager

Finance Manager – come and help develop Koillismaan Osuuskauppa’s success! We are looking for a Finance Manager for a full-time position at Koillismaan Osuuskauppa in Kuusamo. Are you interested in looking beyond the numbers, developing business and supporting decision-making? As Finance Manager, you play an important role in ensuring that financial information becomes understanding, insights and concrete action. You act as a partner to management and the business, actively share your views and help identify both successes and areas for development. The role combines oversight of the finance function, analytical work and continuous improvement. You can influence our cooperative’s operations broadly and develop finance processes as part of S Group’s network of experts. What does the role involve? Your key responsibilities include: • Overall responsibility for monthly and annual reporting and analysis of financial results. • Developing reporting, finance processes and ways of working. • Leading and developing forecasting and annual planning together with the business. • Monitoring financial indicators and targets and supporting the business in achieving them. • Turning financial information into clear insights to support decision-making. • Guiding the financial administration delivered by S Group’s internal service provider and participating in shared finance development projects. You will succeed by combining finance expertise with business understanding and having the confidence to raise new perspectives. We expect an active approach, constructive challenge and a willingness to develop operations together with others. What do we expect from you? • A suitable higher-education degree. • At least two years of experience in demanding finance roles and management accounting. • A comprehensive understanding of financial administration. • An analytical approach and the ability to identify what matters in large volumes of data. • The ability to turn financial data into understandable information and practical recommendations. • Good communication and collaboration skills. • The confidence to express reasoned views, challenge constructively and act on opportunities for development.
