We are looking for an enthusiastic early childhood education teacher to join the committed and professional top team at Tommilankatu! We value previous experience working with children, but the most important thing for us is an enthusiastic attitude. As an early childhood education teacher, you will act as an expert in early childhood education and be responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of high-quality pedagogy together with your team. In addition to you, the team consists of another early childhood education teacher and an early childhood education childcare worker. We are a day care centre completed in 2022, located with good transport connections. Our activities emphasize physical exercise and all-day pedagogy. There are nine children's groups in our building, two of which are pre-primary education groups operating at Hepokulla School. This season, you will work in a group of 3-5-year-olds at Tommilankatu Day Care Centre. We offer a versatile working environment where flexibility, open discussion, and respect for others are important values, combined with a positive attitude and humor. Our strengths also include a good community spirit, a positive atmosphere, and a sense of community. There is a proactive spirit in our house, and new ideas are embraced with enthusiasm. We want to continuously develop our operations together, and you will have the opportunity to influence the creation of practices and operational culture. Weekly working time is allocated for the planning, evaluation, and development of activities. 2 hours of SAK time can be spent outside the workplace, and at Tommilankatu, we ensure that this allocated time is realized. We look forward to welcoming a new professional to our happy team! Qualification requirements are determined according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) § 26 / § 27. The work requires sufficient oral and written skills in Finnish. The person selected for the position must provide the employer with a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act (Act on the Verification of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children 504/2002).
