Practical Nurse for a Respiratory Paralysis Care Team

In our respiratory paralysis team, you care for one client in their own home. The work is individualised, meaningful and, above all, shaped around the client. You are the person we are looking for if 💙 You are a practical nurse with a specialisation in nursing care, and reliability, kindness and flexibility are genuinely reflected in how you work. You work responsibly and calmly, bring a positive attitude, and want to be part of a team where colleagues help one another succeed. As a practical nurse, you are responsible, together with a registered nurse and team supervisor, for the high-quality and safe care of a client with respiratory paralysis. Because you care for one client during your shift, you can focus on that person’s needs without continually rushing from one client to another. You have: - A practical nurse qualification - Vaccination protection in accordance with section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act - Valid medication-care studies or willingness to complete them with us - Fluent Finnish-language skills Previous experience in similar duties, home-based services, or other healthcare work environments is an advantage. However, you do not need to know everything in advance. What matters most to us is finding a good person for our team who genuinely wants to learn, commit to the client’s care and do their work wholeheartedly. You do not need previous experience in ventilator care If caring for a client who depends on a ventilator is new to you, that is fine. We will provide thorough orientation to the role and use of the ventilator. The orientation is planned according to your skills and experience. Our aim is for you to begin your regular work confident in your abilities and knowing that help and support are always available. You will not be alone at work. You will be supported by the team supervisor, a registered nurse, and a close-knit, skilled team that supports one another.
