Quant is a global market leader in industrial maintenance, operating at around 60 locations and employing approximately 1,700 people. Maintenance is our passion, and we take pride in professionally delivering on our partnerships’ objectives. In Finland, we operate as Quant Finland Oy and form a strong team of approximately 250 employees. We are seeking two skilled and motivated maintenance technicians (electrical and mechanical) for a power plant environment in Järvenpää. The role combines hands-on work, problem-solving and maintenance development. It suits someone who enjoys an industrial environment, likes investigating faults and wants to keep learning. What you will do You will ensure the safe and smooth operation of the power plant’s electrical or mechanical equipment. Your days will include both planned maintenance and quick responses to disruptions. • Plan and carry out electrical or mechanical maintenance on power plant equipment. • Troubleshoot and perform repairs to keep production running safely. • Participate in preventive maintenance and its development. • Maintain documentation and reporting according to agreed practices. • Cooperate with different teams and, when needed, participate in commissioning and modification work. • Always ensure that work is carried out safely and in accordance with instructions. • The role includes on-call duty. What we expect from you We hope you already have some experience in industrial maintenance and an interest in both electrical and mechanical equipment. The most important thing is your attitude: you are willing to learn, ask questions and take responsibility. • Relevant vocational training, such as electrician or automation technician training for the electrical technician role, and machinery fitter, mechanic or equivalent training for the maintenance technician role. • At least three years of experience in power plant maintenance. • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and the use of measuring instruments. • Interest in power plant environments and a desire to develop into a versatile maintenance professional. • A safety-oriented approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Fluent Finnish and readiness to understand English-language instructions. Why work with us Our workplace is characterised by cooperation, open communication and mutual support. Management is present in everyday work, listens and leads by example. • An international organisation with straightforward, uncomplicated day-to-day work. • Maintenance is a core business area, not a side role, and your improvement suggestions are genuinely considered. • You will learn about modern, smart and preventive maintenance. • An independent role where you are trusted and can gradually take on more responsibility. • The opportunity to influence your working days and ways of working together with the team. • An enthusiastic team that appreciates a sense of humour—as long as the machinery keeps running safely. What we offer We want work to be sustainable in the long term, not a sprint. That is why we invest in both safety and supporting work ability. We offer a stable working environment where maintenance is part of the company’s strategy, not merely a necessary expense. • Comprehensive occupational healthcare and services that support wellbeing. • Sports, culture, wellbeing and lunch benefits to help balance everyday life. • Good opportunities for training, certifications and career progression. • A modern working environment that emphasises safety and a desire to develop. How to apply If this sounds like a place where you could put your skills and tools to use, submit your application and CV through our online recruitment system by 31 October 2026.
