As a Customer Service Executive, you will be the human face of Epassi’s support function — delivering an exceptional first-line experience for our users across the UK. You’ll champion the client internally and handle enquiries via live chat, phone and Zendesk with confidence, empathy and a technical mindset. Your responsibilities include acting as the first point of contact for Epassi users via online chat, telephone and Zendesk support tickets, providing timely, accurate and empathetic responses, managing tickets, liaising with internal teams, escalating issues, completing reporting, and handling client information responsibly. To be successful, you should resolve tickets within SLAs, achieve high client satisfaction, build strong relationships, grow your product knowledge, flag recurring issues, and process administrative tasks accurately. Daily tasks involve monitoring Zendesk channels, troubleshooting issues, maintaining awareness of platform issues, contributing to knowledge base articles, attending meetings, and adhering to support hours. You should bring no formal degree but have A-Level or equivalent, customer-facing experience, and basic GDPR awareness. Fluent English is essential. You should be quick to learn new software, manage priorities, pay attention to detail, communicate confidently, and use Microsoft Office confidently. You should care about delivering great user experiences, listen actively, approach issues with curiosity, manage multiple tickets, work cross-functionally, stay resilient, and grow your skills. Requirements
- No formal degree required — we welcome candidates stepping into their first role
- A-Level (or equivalent) qualification, vocational, or business qualifications are a nice-to-have
- Customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality or volunteering is a strong advantage
- Experience in a support or helpdesk capacity is desirable but not essential
- A basic awareness of GDPR or data protection principles is a bonus
