We are looking for a committed and motivated early education childcare worker to join Kilterin Daycare during a parental leave for the period 10 August 2026 to 31 December 2026. The role is a full-time, temporary position with three-shift work. The daily work in an around-the-clock daycare is engaging, meaningful and impactful. The daycare offers diverse pedagogical activities in all moments of the day, including evenings and weekends. We value each child as a unique individual and emphasise small-group pedagogy, child participation and being heard, as well as positive pedagogy. We also prioritise taking time, opportunities for children to think and reflect. ICT-integrated pedagogy, music, artistic expression and physical activity are rooted in our everyday life. The Kilterin daycare employs 32 early childhood education professionals. The work community is relaxed and positive; staff are capable, committed and take responsibility for everyday situations and decisions. Employment details: Eligibility: Childcare worker (as required by the Finnish Childcare Act). In addition we require good oral and written Finnish language skills. Advantageous: experience in shift work in early childhood education. Conditions are set according to the Finnish Municipal General Collective Agreement (KVTES). Salary: 2610.95–2684.59 EUR/month. Experience-based allowance: 3–8%. Required licenses: Criminal background check, possible drug test certificate, TB-related clearance for those working with children under school age.
