Construction Laborer

Construction laborer wanted for Kuopio! Would you like to get into construction but do not yet have much experience? We are looking for motivated and energetic construction laborers for different worksites in the Kuopio area. In this role, you can learn practical construction skills alongside experienced professionals and gain valuable work experience for the future. The tasks are varied, and their content will take shape according to your skills and interests. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most. What does the work include? Tasks may include: - Keeping the worksite tidy - Moving and handling construction materials - Assisting construction professionals - Demolition and clearance work - Sorting waste and other worksite-maintenance tasks Previous construction experience is an advantage but is not essential. You learn by doing. You will do well in this role if you: - Are at least 18 years old - Have a valid Occupational Safety Card or are willing to obtain one before starting work - Approach tasks with an energetic, self-starting attitude - Work safely and follow the instructions given - Are reliable, punctual and responsible - Have a good command of Finnish Having access to your own car makes travelling to worksites easier, but it is not essential. Many of our sites are also along public transport routes. Gig work offers flexibility The work is mainly on a gig basis, so you can fit shifts around your own circumstances. The role is well suited, for example, to students, career changers or anyone looking to gain experience in construction. You will get to see different worksites, tasks and industry professionals. Longer-term work opportunities may also become available to active and motivated workers.
