This vacancy is for an Early Childhood Social Worker at Ylästö Daycare (Ylästö day care) in Vantaa. The role is to participate as a member of an multi-professional team in planning, implementation and evaluation of pedagogical activities, and to take responsibility for parenting cooperation with families. The job includes promoting community, belonging and involvement in cooperation with guardians and other child-and-family actors. You will help develop services and new operating methods to support child and family well-being and community. You are responsible for promoting child well-being and guiding children, families and guardians. The open position is at Ylästö Daycare, a six-group daycare near Ylästö School, surrounded by nearby parks and nature. We regularly utilize local environments in our activities and emphasize social skills, friendship and emotional understanding. The team consists of 17 early childhood professionals with a variable amount of support staff. The unit operates under a twin-leadership model and pursues inclusive leadership where your professional skills have room to grow. We value flexible, cooperative teamwork, listening to children and being present in their everyday lives, and ensuring children have a say in matters affecting them.
