Production Engineer

Admor Composites Oy manufactures container and vehicle tanks for demanding liquid transports. Our composite tanks are a competitive alternative to traditional metal tanks, especially for transporting certain chemicals. They are lighter, enabling significant savings in CO2 emissions. Admor is globally one of the first and leading players in this field, with most production already exported, mainly to Europe. Admor Composites is the sister company of Muovityö Hiltunen Oy, operating since 1969, and eight people currently work in our production. The company is in strong growth and aims to multiply our production capacity in the coming years. We are now hiring a Production Engineer for a permanent position at Admor Composites Oy! Admor has a very good employment situation and there is a pressing need for more personnel on the office side. As a Production Engineer you will be in a central role between production and personnel, responsible for ensuring smooth production, quality, safety and schedules. Your work will include planning of production projects and procurement, managing materials, inventory and tools, production planning and scheduling, material procurement and invoicing verification, archiving materials, post-calculation and reporting, and ensuring quality and safety processes. You will also monitor production facilities’ cleanliness and safety. Most work is computer-based in the office, with some supervision of production and interaction with staff. The ERP system used is EAsoft. Proficiency with software is essential. What we hope from applicants? - A suitable university degree, e.g., manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering - Interest in developing production processes and solving problems - Good cooperation and communication skills - Prior experience in project management or production control in plastics or manufacturing is advantageous - At least reasonable English skills as most procurement is from foreign suppliers What the job offers? - Starting salary around €3500/month, depending on competence - Permanent employment with an exciting composite product - Lunch benefit - Diverse tasks with opportunity to influence and improve processes Planned start in autumn 2026.
