We are now seeking an experienced person to join our financial services unit as Accounting Manager/Chief Accountant, to be based in Tampere or Espoo with flexible remote work options. In this role you will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements and consolidated statements, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, taxation and other statutory obligations, directing, developing and documenting accounting processes, and supporting and advising other functions in the finance department. You will actively participate in the dissolution of the outsourcing arrangement and in building new operating models, including system implementations, process definitions and ways of working. There is potential to take on a supervisory role over the growing external accounting team in the future. Your location can be Espoo or Tampere, with the most flexible remote work possibilities. To succeed you need a precise and methodical working style, the ability to see the big picture, and a willingness to demonstrate expertise and act as a specialist in your role. We expect you to bring courage to showcase your skills, an analytical and development-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills. You have strong knowledge of accounting, financial statements and tax legislation, experience in statutory reporting and group accounting. Mastery of IFRS is advantageous. You have experience in development projects and can maintain an overview even during change. The role requires proficient Finnish and English, a suitable university degree (e.g. tradenomi or KTM) and at least five years of experience in similar roles within a group environment. A KLT qualification is advantageous. You will use MS Office, UNIT4, Business Central, Tagetik and PowerBI.
