Earthworks Worker

We are looking for an earthworks professional for Salo! Are you an experienced earthworks worker? We are looking for someone for our client company who has experience in earthworks and a positive, skilled approach to work. Familiarity with machinery is a plus, but a good foundation and readiness to learn to use it are most important. The work is mainly in the Salo area, but worksites may also be elsewhere in Varsinais-Suomi or the Helsinki metropolitan area. The work is through a staffing agency, with the possibility of a longer assignment and employment directly by the company. Job description: Your duties will mainly include operating machinery, taking elevation measurements and shovelling. Duties may also vary according to the worksite. What we expect from you: The person we are looking for has previous experience in earthworks or other infrastructure-sector work. They are able to take elevation measurements and use, for example, pipe and levelling lasers. Experience working with machinery is desirable. Success in the role also requires: Good communication and teamwork skills Readiness for physically demanding work Readiness to travel to changing worksites Being at least 18 years old A valid occupational safety card Finnish language skills Access to a car for travel What we offer: This is a great opportunity to work in varied earthworks roles, take on a longer-term position and further develop your skills. Pay is determined at least in accordance with the infrastructure-sector collective agreement, which for earthworks workers is usually €15.71–€19.64 per hour. The final pay is agreed based on your previous experience and skills. We also provide the equipment you need for work and support from our capable HR team throughout your employment.
