We are looking for a thoughtful and development-minded Digital Identity Specialist to take responsibility for the identity and access management of the Tampere higher education community. The role suits you who have sufficient technical competence, the ability to perceive large entities, and readiness to take leadership in developing services and solutions. Tampere University IT Services provides centralized IT services, develops and maintains electronic services as well as network and workstation solutions for teaching, research and staff. IT Services has a central role in advancing the digitalisation of the Tampere higher education community. The position is placed in the System Services team, which is responsible for the architecture of information, system platforms and intelligent automation solutions. Job description: As a Digital Identity Specialist you will be involved in building and developing central identity and access management services for the Tampere higher education community. You will be responsible for developing and continuously improving the digital identity. You will participate in the design of IAM solutions and processes. You will build an overall picture of the current state, goals and future roadmap of identity management. In your work you will evaluate the opportunities offered by new technologies, automation and AI in developing identity management services. You will also support adoption and exploitation as part of the digital services of the higher education community. The role combines technical expert work, service development and close cooperation with various experts, service providers and stakeholders.
