Cashier and Shift Supervisor

We are looking for a cashier for our store, combined with a shift supervisor role, on a permanent basis! We are looking for a customer-oriented, commercially minded and organised retail professional for a new shift supervisor role. During your shift supervisor shifts, you make sure that store tasks are completed as planned and on schedule. Your varied workday includes serving customers at the till and in the store, replenishing products, planning and arranging displays, and looking after the store’s ambience. You are responsible for delivering high-quality customer service and handling any customer complaints in line with our service promise. An important part of your work is maintaining store readiness, shelf availability and controlling waste. Your shifts may include opening and closing the store and, for example, covering sickness absences. You will also create displays and price signs in line with the store concept and marketing plan. The shift supervisor is assigned to specific shifts when there is no service supervisor or store manager on duty. During other shifts, the shift supervisor carries out the regular daily store tasks of a cashier. The position starts by agreement and working hours are 35 hours per week. While working with us, you also have the opportunity to work some of your contracted hours or take additional hours at nearby stores. You could be our new shift supervisor if you: - Are genuinely interested in the work community and customers. - Have solid experience in customer service and retail work. - Are proactive and solution-oriented, and enjoy taking responsibility. - Encourage and guide others to succeed at work and are a collaborative team player. - Can use basic information systems, learn new systems and processes, and guide others in using them. - Are ready to take on more responsibility and develop your skills, perhaps towards becoming a future service supervisor. Previous experience in supervisory or other responsible roles is an advantage in this position.
