Open positions include: Pispala School pre-school, 31.8.–31.10.2026, likely continuing to year end and possibly into spring; Tuomikujan Daycare Center, 24.9.2026–25.5.2027; Kisapuisto Daycare Center, 1.10.2026–13.8.2027; Lielahti School pre-school, 19.10.26–4.6.27; Peltovainio Daycare Center, 18.1.–4.6.2027; Atala School pre-school, 16.11.2026–4.6.2027. As a teacher you are responsible for pedagogical planning, implementation, evaluation and development, and for creating a learning environment together with your team. You will prepare the child’s early childhood education plan and collaborate with the special education teacher to support the whole. You will build and maintain close cooperation with guardians and act as an expert in early childhood education in various working groups and networks. You will also contribute to unit safety and well-being. You are committed to meeting children and families individually, sensitively, and maintaining a positive atmosphere. You are creative and development-minded, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage group situations responsibly and efficiently. The basic qualification is eligibility as an early childhood teacher (Act 540/2018, sections 26 and 75). We also welcome students in the final stages of studies and do not require the eligibility under the Early Childhood Education Act in that case. Proficiency in Finnish is required for successful performance of duties. Other fluent language skills are an asset. Additional advantages include prior work experience in the field, continuing education, versatile pedagogical competence, eligibility for pre-school education, and good collaboration and interaction skills.
