From the first store in Germany, over a thousand stores have sprouted in 47 countries. **We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager for the New Yorker store in Hämeenlinna** **Main duties** - Store management according to the New Yorker concept - Responsibility for sales, turnover, and inventory - Responsibility for the daily operation of the store - Monitoring of business key figures - Leading and motivating the team - Staff training and continuous development - Personnel planning and scheduling - Recruitment of extra staff - Personnel and sales administration - All store tasks - Cooperation with other departments in the team-oriented New Yorker **Requirements** - Experience in personnel management in retail - Experience in personnel and sales administration, and preferably financial responsibility - Secondary education and preferably higher education in work management, economics, and/or the field of trade and fashion - At least 2 years of experience in retail, good sales skills - Business-minded, with an emphasis on costs and profitability - Leadership skills and ability to guide staff - Good communication skills, clear and understanding - Systematic, self-directed, and organized - Committed and team-spirited - Flexibility, stress tolerance, and enjoying working in a fast-paced environment - Fashion-conscious, preferably experience in the fashion industry - Good skills in Finnish and English, knowledge of German is an advantage, good Excel skills **What we offer?** A good team is the most important thing to us.
