Human Resources Manager

As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for the city’s personnel and payroll policy and the overall management of human resources. You will lead personnel development and act as a strategic partner to the management on HR matters. Your duties include developing and implementing personnel and payroll policies, interpreting and applying collective agreements, developing cooperation between the employer and staff, promoting well-being at work and the development of competencies, supporting supervisors and management in HR matters, and leading the HR services. You will serve as the head of HR services and as a supervisor to three payroll secretaries and a well-being coordinator. You will also be a member of the city’s executive team and help shape the future direction of the city. We expect you to hold a higher university degree and have experience in diverse specialist and leadership roles in HR. We especially value knowledge of municipal HR matters, strong employment law expertise, a proactive and goal-oriented work attitude, ability to build collaboration and trust with stakeholders, good interaction and cooperation skills, and familiarity with HR information systems.
