We are seeking a skilled à la carte cook for a permanent, full-time position in a Tampere city-center restaurant, under a contract of at least 90 hours per three weeks. The role involves participating in a versatile kitchen workflow from pre-preparation to final dish finishing, and maintaining general kitchen cleanliness. The restaurant emphasizes high-quality ingredients and, where possible, local producers. Tasks include à la carte kitchen duties and preparation of lunch dishes during lunch service, with days varying according to seasons and customer flow. The work is performed in a close-knit team where collaboration and good communication are essential. Work is Mon-Sun, starting as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Requirements include strong experience as an à la carte cook, ability to work independently and take responsibility, ability to see the bigger picture in a busy environment, good interpersonal and teamwork skills, a flexible and energetic work attitude, and fluent Finnish (working language).
