CNC machinist for heavy industry. We are looking for a CNC machinist for heavy industry machine work. The position offers a long-term opportunity in a stable machine shop environment where you will work on large and technically interesting parts. The role suits both those starting a career in machining and experienced CNC specialists. Tasks and responsibilities can be tailored to your skills, providing good opportunities to develop your professional expertise. Your duties include: CNC machining on various parts, operating machines and setting up, interpreting technical drawings, measuring parts and quality control, handling parts with lifting gear or a forklift when needed, working in a 3-shift system. What we expect from you: background in machining or assembly is advantageous; CNC programming skills are a plus. Interest in CNC machining and a willingness to learn and develop in the role. Basic ability to read technical drawings. Careful, proactive and responsible work approach. Fluent Finnish is required for the role. Prior experience in an industrial environment and forklift/crane experience are advantageous.
