Production Manager

We are looking for a Production Manager to support the growth of Satron Instruments Oy. Satron Instruments designs, develops and manufactures innovative process instruments and smart measurement transmitters for industrial use. Our product range includes optical measuring devices and pressure transmitters for the needs of the pulp, paper and food industries. High quality and fast delivery are the cornerstones of our strategy. Satron products are used in more than 90 countries in the paper, pulp, food and chemical industries, and the company has resellers in 40 countries around the world. We are now looking for a Production Manager in Pirkkala to take responsibility for production as a whole, develop production processes and ensure reliable deliveries and product quality. The role is important to Satron. You will report to the CEO and be part of the management team. Your duties include: - Leading day-to-day production, resource allocation, scheduling and capacity management. - Ensuring production efficiency, lead times and delivery reliability in close cooperation with sales and design. - Working with product development and quality, and participating in implementing new products and product variants in production. - Monitoring and analysing production KPIs (productivity, lead times and delivery reliability) and putting improvement measures into practice. - Participating in procurement and developing supplier relationships. We expect you to have: - Experience in production supervisory or development roles in an industrial environment (for example electronics, machine shops, instrumentation or equipment manufacturing). - The ability to combine smooth day-to-day operations with long-term production development in support of Satron’s growth objectives. - Good problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach. - Good IT skills and readiness to use a production control or ERP system and basic reporting. - Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to act as a link between production, sales, design, product development and procurement. - Fluent Finnish and sufficient English to work in an international environment.
