We are seeking a la carte cook for Himmerki in Posio for the winter season 2026-2027. Posio is one of Lapland’s well-kept secrets, and there is a place here for you. Lomakeskus Himmerki and Hotelli Kirikeskus offer guests and residents experiences in Lapland’s unique landscapes, with clear waters, snowy forests and fells that create a setting that brings guests back again and again. Himmerki has a total of 220 beds, two restaurants and a growing number of domestic and international visitors. We provide high-quality dining experiences that emphasize local ingredients, sustainability, and responsibility. The work starts around 15 November 2026 and continues until the end of the spring season, around March 2027. The role mainly involves line cook duties, with additional kitchen tasks included. A varied role split between Lomakeskus Himmerki and Hotelli Kirikeskus. What we expect from you: previous experience as a restaurant cook; flexible and energetic attitude; good teamwork and the ability to work independently; initiative, positive mindset and enthusiasm for the restaurant industry; strong stress tolerance in a busy environment; fluent English; hygiene passport and food worker health declaration.
