Mechanical Designer

A mechanical designer at UPCAST OY will contribute to the 3D mechanical design of the company’s gravity-fed continuous casting lines as part of an international technology company’s design team in Pori. The role includes traditional mechanical design as well as layout, piping, structural, and pneumatic design. Our gravity-casting technology is among the best in the field and our clients are mainly international companies. The position combines independent responsibility, problem solving, and close collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Responsibilities include 3D mechanical design of casting lines, layout, piping, structural layouts, and pneumatic systems; work in multi-project environment; coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
