Experienced Structural Renovation Designer / Structural Renovation Project Manager Would you like to help extend the life cycle of buildings and solve exciting renovation challenges? We are looking for a structural designer / project manager who wants to take responsibility for projects, work closely with clients and help build a growing expert organisation. What does the work involve? The work is a varied combination of structural design, project management and client collaboration. Together with the rest of the team, you will be responsible for projects progressing and will actively participate in developing technical solutions. Your duties include, among other things: - Structural renovation design for sites such as apartment buildings, public buildings and industrial properties - Interpreting condition investigations and assessments as the basis for design - Analysing structural damage and planning repair methods - Collaborating with clients, other design disciplines and contractors - Preparing plans (Tekla & AutoCAD) What do we offer you? - Varied and technically challenging projects - The opportunity to influence your own role and develop the company’s ways of working - A relaxed, low-hierarchy and knowledgeable work community - Flexible working practices and modern design tools - Competitive compensation - The opportunity to progress to project manager in structural renovation - Permanent employment as part of the Instalco Group - A pleasant office in Käpylä—with a gym, a darts board and a sporty group (activities have ranged from volleyball to rowing in a church boat) What do we expect from you? - A suitable higher-education degree (MSc in Engineering or engineer, university of applied sciences) - At least five years’ experience in structural renovation design - Strong skills in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD - Qualification for renovation design assignments - Ability to understand broad entities and manage your own work - An independent, responsible and solution-oriented approach Experience in structural design for new construction is considered an advantage.
