Structural Engineers

We are recruiting two Structural Engineers for our client company. Your base can be in Helsinki, Tampere or Oulu. Further information about the job You will be responsible for varied structural design assignments in new-build and renovation projects. Your duties include designing and sizing structures and developing technical solutions in cooperation with clients, other design specialists and project management. You will participate in projects at different stages, from concept design to detailed design, and provide design support during the construction phase when needed. Key responsibilities - Prepare structural drawings, calculations and other design documents. - Examine existing structures and design renovation solutions. - Collaborate with clients, architects, other designers, contractors and others. - Ensure the technical functionality, safety and regulatory compliance of designs. - Support the sales team and tender calculations with your expertise. - Monitor the progress of design processes and report project progress to management. The role can be weighted somewhat toward new construction, renovation or a combination of the two, depending on your skills and experience. What we expect from you - Relevant technical education, for example a Bachelor of Engineering in Construction Engineering, a Master of Science in Technology or an equivalent qualification. - Relevant work experience in structural design. - An accurate and careful approach to work. - Project-management skills and the ability to work in a team. - Proficiency in structural-design software. - Language skills in Finnish and English.
