General Practitioner in Prison Healthcare

Hello, general practitioner—come and join Solo’s friendly team! 💜 We are looking for a doctor for the outpatient clinic at Vaasa Prison for the period 14 January 2027–31 December 2027. Work unit and duties The work consists of general-practitioner appointments in primary healthcare at Vaasa Prison’s outpatient clinic three days a week. The clinic work also includes remote appointments and paperwork for other prisons. The patient information system is LifeCare. Working time is 7 hours 15 minutes per working day, plus an unpaid 30-minute lunch break, on weekdays during office hours between 8:00 and 16:00. The doctor is present on site one day a week (Thursday). The other two days are remote days and can be agreed separately. What we require from you - Qualification as a general practitioner - At least one year of work experience as a doctor after graduation. The work experience must be from Finland. - Vaccination protection in accordance with section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act - Good Finnish skills and at least satisfactory English skills Compensation Total compensation is determined according to your experience. We also offer a lunch benefit and a sports and culture benefit in proportion to working hours and the duration of employment.
