About the role

We are developing Cities: Skylines II, an ambitious simulation game with unprecedented scale and detail. We are looking for a Game Producer to help us manage the complexity of this massive urban simulation. You will be the one handling the daily logistics and schedules that keep development on track, while serving as the vital link between our internal developers and the Paradox teams handling publishing and marketing. What you will be doing: Manage the day-to-day activities of the development team, keeping everyone focused and moving forward. Maintain and track project timelines, ensuring milestones are reached without losing sight of the big picture. Facilitate communication across different teams, helping to turn high-level goals into actionable tasks. Identify potential issues early and support the team by removing blockers to keep development moving. Work closely with Paradox publishing and marketing teams to align publishing milestones with the studio's development schedule, keeping communication clear and timelines realistic. The skills you need to have: Solid experience in project management, team coordination, or a similar production-focused role. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage complex timelines across multiple departments. Strong communication skills with a focus on providing clarity and maintaining a positive team environment. A proactive mindset where you look ahead and catch problems before they cause delays. Ability to balance the needs of the development team with the requests of external stakeholders. Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, or similar software. How to stand out from the crowd: Background in game development giving you a better grasp of the production cycle and player experience. A deep personal interest in simulation, city builder, or management games. Experience coordinating with external partners, outsourcing vendors, or third-party development teams. Proven ability to stay organized in an environment where priorities can shift quickly. Our office is located within walking distance of downtown Tampere. Due to the highly collaborative nature of our work, we expect you to be able to work at the office. If you think this description matches you, we highly encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as we interview candidates continuously. If you don’t match every single requirement, please demonstrate how your passion, attitude, and interest in Iceflake and Paradox might compensate for this.
