Alarm Center Operator

We are looking for alarm center operators for CERTEGO 24/7 at our units in Jyväskylä and Kokkola with a contract of 0–40 hours per week. In this role, you will work in an interesting and versatile alarm center environment using modern security and building technology, including video surveillance, remote control, and emergency services. Your daily tasks may include receiving security and technical alarms (burglary, fire, technical, and personnel alarms), assessing the severity and appropriate response, dispatching security guards, authorities (police, rescue services), or property maintenance, monitoring systems, and documenting events and creating reports. The work is shift-based, mainly 12-hour shifts at Jyväskylä's alarm center. Training will initially involve shorter shifts, with later training for weekend and night shifts. Requirements include a security guard card, basic IT skills, and fluency in Finnish and English; Swedish skills are an advantage. The role emphasizes customer service, good communication, flexibility, problem-solving, and stress tolerance. Knowledge of building automation and previous experience in alarm centers are beneficial.
