Would you like to help build a world-class environment where players can fulfil their potential and people can thrive? We are looking for a physical performance coach to develop physical coaching, performance development, testing and the use of data.
Eerikkilä exists to support the wellbeing and success of people and communities. Our core philosophy is that true success is rooted in wellbeing. We want everyone to find their own unique place to contribute to society. In this respect, we make no distinction between a player, coach, leader or employee: everyone’s role is vital.

You may be the person we are looking for if you are an analytical, collaborative and development-oriented professional with excellent interpersonal skills. You understand the demands of international elite sport and data-informed coaching, and want to build impactful coaching and a world-class coaching environment. You will bring together the demands of elite sport, research evidence and practical coaching expertise, and have an impact on performance development. You will work in a multidisciplinary expert team alongside our current physical performance specialist. Responsibilities and priorities will be shaped around your expertise, experience and operational needs.
Your duties include:
**Developing and delivering physical coaching**
- Plan and develop physical coaching and deliver practical coaching to athletes individually and in groups, and where appropriate to other client groups such as corporate customers.
- Ensure physical coaching is based on current research and best practice.
**Testing, performance assessment and use of data**
- Plan and develop physical testing and performance assessment, and conduct practical testing for individuals and groups.
- Analyse performance data, prepare reports and support coaches in using information as part of the coaching process.
**Training, specialist work and networking**
- Train coaches and specialists and produce physical coaching content and training materials.
- Share your expertise and collaborate with sports federations, clubs, coaches, corporate groups and other specialists.
We expect you to have strong, practically demonstrated expertise in the long-term development of physical performance and in planning, delivering, evaluating and developing physical coaching as a whole in an elite-sport environment. You have strong knowledge of workload monitoring and performance testing, and of ensuring the quality and reliability of testing methods. You can analyse and interpret performance data and use data, technology and current research appropriately to draw coaching-related conclusions and identify practical actions. You have a record of multidisciplinary collaboration and excellent interpersonal, communication and training skills. You take initiative, have a development-oriented approach and can assume responsibility. You speak and write Finnish and English fluently. You have a relevant master’s degree, preferably in sports, coaching or health sciences.
We also value experience developing physical performance in national or international elite football environments, such as national teams, academies or professional clubs; experience developing the physical performance of people working in demanding, high-performance environments; and experience training coaches or developing the expertise of coaches and other specialists.
We offer the opportunity to help build a world-class environment where players can fulfil their potential and people can thrive; meaningful, impactful work in a unique setting and a growing, developing workplace that works constructively for the benefit of clients and colleagues; a broad expert network to support your success; and one of Finland’s most inspiring workplaces. Staff benefits include a meal benefit, sports and culture benefit, accommodation benefit, fitness testing and occupational health services. Flexible remote-work practices support the balance between work and other life.
