Foster Parent

We are looking for foster parents for Validia Family Care in Tampere. This position invites a steady, caring home for a child in need, with the child joining your family to live a normal daily life together. As a foster parent you are truly present for the child’s everyday joys and sorrows, including difficult times. The role is based on a service agreement that includes care allowance and expense reimbursement. A Pride pre-training or equivalent process training is required; if the training is missing, it can be provided by Validia Family Care before starting. We support your everyday life comprehensively, including post-training guidance, mentoring, supervision, additional training and family days. If needed, home assistance is available, and per Family Care law you have access to certain leaves. We hope for a stable life situation and sufficient resources to commit to the child’s everyday life. We value willingness to cooperate with the child’s relatives and other professionals and to learn new things. Suitable education or experience is an asset but not a requirement to work in this role. A driving license is required and a criminal record check for those who work with children will be carried out.
