The Pirkanmaa Wellbeing Region’s oral health service employs over 500 professionals. We are currently seeking an orthodontic dental nurse for a permanent position in the orthodontics unit, located in Tampere. The role will initially be in the Tampere orthodontics units; in spring 2027 the position will transfer to a newly established orthodontics competence center, consolidating orthodontic care under one roof at the Tampere-TAYS area. The orthodontic dental nurse will work alongside dentists, residents-in-training and specialists, handle written duties related to orthodontics, and participate in development activities with other staff. We offer interesting work in a multidisciplinary team, opportunities to develop skills broadly, ongoing in-house training, and supportive team culture. Working hours are regular at 38 h 15 min per week, with a 6-month probationary period and start by agreement. Applicants must have a vocational qualification in dental health focused on oral health, or an equivalent prior qualification, and strong Finnish speaking and writing skills (Finnish assessment may be conducted before start).
