Payroll Accountant

We are seeking a permanent payroll accountant for Tampereen Työväen Teatteri (TTT). The payroll accountant will handle monthly payroll for the theatre’s permanent staff, as well as related reporting, remittances, and regulatory filings. The role includes HR-advisory tasks and development of HR systems, and some theatre accounting tasks such as processing and verifying sales settlements. You will be part of an experienced five-person payroll and finance team; the supervisor is the Chief Financial Officer. We expect relevant education and several years’ experience in similar roles and with payroll software. We use Sonet Premium payroll and Netvisor accounting software. You should be responsible, flexible and service-minded, with the ability to apply collective agreements in the job. The applicable collective agreements are: Theatre Industry TES, Actors TES, Theatre Musicians TES, and Hospitality and Restaurant TES. The role requires ability to work in a busy environment and to meet schedules. We will provide thorough onboarding to this diverse role. The position offers flexible work hours and partial remote work. The role may be performed at 80% of full-time until spring 2027.
