CNC Turner / CNC Machinist

Looking for your next step as a machining professional? We are recruiting a CNC turner / CNC machinist for our client for permanent, full-time work in Keuruu. This is a varied and responsible component-manufacturing role where you can use your programming and machining skills and continue developing your expertise. You may have a background as a turner or as a machinist who has worked with machining centres. What matters most is that you have CNC machining experience, can program and understand the machining process as a whole. What will you do? You will operate a Mazak CNC machining centre or lathe, make machine setups, program with Mazatrol controls and ensure the quality of the parts produced. This is not just a machine-operating role. We are looking for a machinist who can take responsibility for production and make the necessary decisions independently. Your duties include: - Operating a Mazak CNC machining centre or lathe - Programming with Mazatrol controls - Setting up the machine - Selecting tools - Interpreting machining drawings and tolerances - Measuring finished parts and ensuring their quality - Maintaining the smooth operation and quality of the machining process You will work in a large, modern production environment manufacturing various machine parts and components. What do we expect from you? We are looking for someone with previous CNC machining or CNC turning experience and the ability to work independently. The role requires: - Experience in CNC machining and/or CNC turning - CNC programming skills - The ability to read machining drawings and tolerances - An understanding of the machining process as a whole - An accurate and careful approach to work - Problem-solving skills and initiative - Finnish or English language skills Knowledge of Mazatrol controls is a clear advantage. Experience in CAM programming is also considered an advantage. Strong basic machining skills and programming ability are the most important things.
