Mechanical Maintenance Technician Are you the colleague we are looking for to join the skilled team at Kokkola Port? Kokkola Port Ltd is seeking two mechanical maintenance technicians for permanent employment. You will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance and operational reliability of the port’s cranes, conveyor systems, material-handling equipment and other port infrastructure. Kokkola Port is a growing and developing port that handles significant volumes of bulk, breakbulk and project cargo every year. Maintenance plays a central role in ensuring the port operates safely and without disruption. The mechanical maintenance technician’s duties include: Mechanical maintenance of cranes, conveyor systems and other port equipment Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting and repair work Carrying out and documenting preventive maintenance Mechanical installation, repair and modification work Welding Maintenance and repair work in port warehouses and other properties Working with electrical maintenance, operations and contractors The working environment is varied: work is carried out throughout the year in different weather and temperature conditions, including on port cranes and other elevated locations.
