Sustainability and Communications Manager

As the Sustainability and Communications Manager, you work closely with the business, personnel and the group's leadership. The role offers the opportunity to influence how Lounea is perceived and communicated to staff, customers, owners and other stakeholders. The position is an established part of our operations, and you will continue the strong development and help shape the next steps together with skilled colleagues. You will also participate broadly in developing the group’s operations and culture. Responsibilities include planning, developing and implementing internal and external communications; producing, coordinating and developing communications across channels in collaboration with management, business units and experts; supporting leadership and supervisors in communication situations; developing communication practices, channels and processes; strengthening Lounea’s visibility; coordinating corporate responsibility work and contributing to its development; monitoring the achievement of responsibility goals and coordinating sustainability reporting; making sustainability work visible to staff and external stakeholders; participating in corporate development initiatives and reforming operating methods. Requirements include experience in demanding expert or managerial communication roles and the ability to build clear, understandable and impactful communication for different target groups. We especially value experience in internal and external communication, ability to write fluently and engagingly, experience supporting leadership and supervisors in communicative situations, understanding of sustainability topics and their business relevance, ability to grasp overall concepts and implement them in practice, proactive and development-oriented work attitude, fluent Finnish and good English.
