Team Lead

**Do you want to be part of building a completely new unit and creating a functional daily routine from its very first days? Now there is a unique opportunity.** We are looking for a Team Lead for a permanent, full-time position at Vihdin Validia-talo, which opens late this year. In this role, you will help launch the operations of the new unit together with the unit manager and other staff. You will play a central role in building practices, the work community, and a smooth daily routine for both staff and residents. Vihdin Validia-talo is an 18-place high-service unit for clients with intellectual disabilities and those on the autism spectrum. The unit consists of five group homes and is designed to meet the individual needs of clients requiring demanding support. The core of the operation is the client's quality of life, a safe daily routine, and a high-quality, rehabilitative approach. **What does the role involve?** As Team Lead, you will work as a close partner to the unit manager and be responsible for ensuring that the unit's daily operations run smoothly every day. You will organize and coordinate daily activities, support staff in their work, and ensure that residents' daily lives are implemented with quality and according to plans. Your duties include network cooperation and collaboration with residents' loved ones. You will actively participate in developing the unit's operations and serve as an important link between staff, residents, loved ones, and partners. The work is heavily involved in the residents' daily lives, and you will also participate in practical care and guidance work alongside the rest of the team. This is not solely a coordinating role, but a combination of responsibility, organization, and genuine client work. The work is primarily Monday to Friday day work in morning shifts. **What do we hope for from you?** Suitable education for the position could be, for example, a degree as a practical nurse or a social services professional (sosionomi). We value experience in the field of intellectual disabilities and working with clients on the autism spectrum. You have good interaction and cooperation skills, as well as the ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks. You work responsibly and independently, but you also know how to support and guide the work community to achieve common goals.
