We are seeking a bilingual daycare center director for Verkanappulat Oy for a permanent position in Vaasa. In this role you will lead a small daycare where high-quality early childhood education, staff well-being and child-centered care are at the core. We are looking for an engaged and development-oriented leader who wants to influence the unit’s operation comprehensively and build a safe, learning-focused and inspiring culture together with staff. The position is permanent, starting by 1 August 2026 at the latest, with earlier start possible by agreement. Responsibilities include: leading overall operations of the unit, guiding staff, participation in recruitment, supporting wellbeing; building a psychologically safe and inclusive workplace; developing operations that support continuous learning; ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, resource management, safety coordination, and procurement; organizing food services and cleaning; educational leadership, ensuring group interventions and student support processes; cooperation with families and the municipality; reporting to the area manager. Requirements
