Job Details

Responsibilities

Take a key role in the continued development of the company’s core product
Report directly to the CPTO
Work closely with engineering, product and the wider business
Build intuitive, reliable and scalable technology used by finance teams
Hands-on position within a small engineering team
Significant ownership and influence over the frontend product and technical direction
Balance speed and quality; test product ideas quickly and translate successful ideas into scalable features

Requirements

Strong commercial React experience
Strong commercial TypeScript experience
Previous startup or scale-up experience
Several years of professional frontend/software engineering experience, operating at Senior Engineer level
Experience building and maintaining production frontend applications
Strong understanding of frontend architecture, maintainability and testing
A pragmatic, product-focused approach to engineering
Comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting for detailed specifications
Able to work effectively within a small, fast-moving engineering team
Comfortable with the ambiguity and changing priorities that come with a growing startup
