About the role

We are looking for an early childhood education teacher to join a work community that values cooperation and open interaction. Your duties You will work in a children's group together with an early childhood education social worker and a childcare worker. The group is further supported by a special education teacher in early childhood education and a language and culture teacher. Your work includes regular time for planning, evaluation, and operational development. This position is suitable for you if - your interaction with children can be described as encouraging, caring, and gentle - you enable the child's participation and value children's initiatives - even in challenging situations, you see the child's needs behind the behavior and find positive, supportive ways to support the child in everyday life - you want to learn and gain insights together with the work community - you value teamwork and have a solution-oriented mindset Start date: 17.8.2026 Eligibility requirements are determined according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) § 26 / § 27. The person selected for the position must provide the employer with a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children 504/2002).
