Customer Service Officer for Logistics and Special Transport Services

We are now seeking a customer service professional for logistics and special transport services in Espoo. The role involves handling import, export and special transport tasks, ensuring customs procedures are managed professionally and working independently. We offer a permanent, full-time contract (37.5 hours per week). Start date per agreement. Benefits include meal and recreation allowances, optional health fund, and extensive occupational health care. Salary is per agreement. Work location is Espoo with good accessibility. The role primarily communicates via email, phone, and customer systems. Typical hours are 8:00–16:00 on weekdays. Assignments are processed within two days; urgent cases as needed. Collaboration with freight, logistics and front desk operators and authorities as required is essential. Main duties include import logistics, export logistics and special transports; planning, guidance and coordination for VAK, high-value and sensitive transports; preparation of permits (e.g., export licenses); handling transport documentation. Other tasks include preparing powers of attorney and documents, reporting on completed assignments. Requirements include prior experience in freight forwarding, customs and special transports, knowledge of import/export procedures and restrictions, excellent Finnish and English, strong documentation and reporting skills, independent and responsible work style, ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, basic education preferred.
