The Financial Secretary in Sotepen unit is responsible for defining and deciding on income-based customer charges for social and health services, handling related customer service and stakeholder cooperation, and providing guidance on customer charges and reductions. The unit also handles invoicing support tasks and related record-keeping in the system. The role includes advising on customer charges and related processes across multiple channels, with our current telephone service as one channel. Ideal candidates have a relevant university degree (e.g., a tradenomi) or an equivalent previous diploma or vocational qualification, and good written and spoken Finnish; Swedish proficiency is valued. Prior experience with the Apotti information system and independent, proactive work attitude are appreciated, as well as strong teamwork and adaptability. The position requires appreciation of social and health care customer charge law and administrative law. A health check is requested before appointment. The most valued competencies include responsibility, numerical accuracy, financial administration experience, IT skills, stress tolerance, flexibility, and multi-case management with tight deadlines.
